He's now a fully-fledged demi chef de partie, qualified to manage each individual section of the kitchen, feeding diners an array of mouth-watering delights in both Anton’s Bistrot and the Penn Bar. Connor's other responsibilities include stock management; checking levels and ordering. He also gets to exercise his creative flair by with dishes for our daily specials board, as well as having a major input into menu changes (new one out this week, folks).
Connor joined our kitchen team in 2012 and quickly proved himself to be a valuable asset to The Crown. He's our first apprentice and it’s been such a positive experience, we've recruited another apprentice, who is in his first year with us. We hope he can follow in Connor’s footsteps.
