Teams are asked to arrive and complete registration by 9.00am for a 9.30am start of play. The final play off will be at approximately 5.00pm. The initial leagues should be finished by 3pm; you are welcome to stay to spectate, of course.
You will need to bring your own set of boules. However, if you are not able to acquire a set we will hopefully be able to arrange for you to loan a set on the day. We only provide a limited amount of tables and chairs, on a first come, first served basis, therefore, it is advisable that you bring your own seating and table, for you and the members of your team.
Boules (or Petanque) teams can consist of as many players as they wish but only four team members may play in any one match. The competition will initially be on a round-robin basis followed by a knock out competition for the finalists.
At £95.00 the entry fee includes four tickets for a coffee and croissant breakfast on arrival and four tickets for a superb buffet lunch.
Extra tickets can be ordered for teams with more than four players at £11.00 per head for lunch, £3.00 per person for coffee and croissant breakfasts.
A wine, beer and soft drinks will be available in the Town Hall, all profits will go to The Nepal Trust.
Everything you need for the day – rules, lunch tickets, coffee and croissant tickets, piste plan – will be sent to you beforehand.
Please note there is a road closure order for the Market Place on this day, however you can drop off tables and chairs.
As this is a tournament for amateurs and to keep within the ethos of this event, we would point out that league players may be handicapped.
