Market day city tours run twice weekly (11am on Wednesday and Saturday) from Easter to the end of September. These last approximately one hour. Simply turn up at The Crown, no booking required. Countryside Rambles
Minutes away from the Market Place are wonderful walks across open countryside. If you would like to enjoy a ramble into the lush green surroundings but are unsure where to go, then let your guide show you the local beauty spots so that all you have to do is enjoy the view.
Booking advisable but not essential. These rambles are for approximately 2 hours and cost £5 for an adult. During the school holidays these rambles will be family friendly. School age children accompanied by an adult welcome. Children £2, Adults with child £4. Why not bring along a picnic to finish off with?
