Access

Due to the age and layout of the building, we are unable to offer wheelchair users access to the bedrooms. We are, however, able to provide a ramp for those wishing to use the Bistrot.

Children

The Crown has family rooms, with space for cots and fold away beds. We have high chairs, kids packs, toys and books to keep our younger customers entertained.  Cots and fold away beds, in our family rooms, are an additional £15 per child, per night (maximum of two per room).

Noise

You can find ear plugs provided in all of the rooms as it can be a little noisy on market days if you have a room at the front.  We are also very close to the Cathedral so you will hear the bells ringing.  All part of the charm of our beautiful little city, Wells!

Pets

Well-behaved, house trained dogs are permitted by prior arrangement. You will be asked to bring separate bedding and not to leave your dog alone in the room at any time.  We make a small charge of £10 per dog. Doggie Play Days are available at Wood Drove Boarding Kennels

Parking

​We have very limited parking at the rear of the building, which is subject to availability. You're very welcome to park while you check in and we'll do our best to find you a parking space. The nearest long term car park is named High Street car park in South Street, BA5 2AA, and less than a two minute walk away. Opposite that Peacocks parking is £5 for 24 hours.
